I made this set for my nephew’s baby that is due in June. I used Lion Brand Pound of Love in “Antique White” (a little over 2 skeins) and Red Heart Super Saver in “Mirage” (2 skeins).
I really like the afghan. It could be made into any size with any yarn. This pattern is from “Baby Afghans to Knit and Crochet” a Leisure arts leaflet 64. This is an old leaflet, 1976, but I found one on Ebay (click on the link above).
The hat was taken from this blog. I used double crochets not the cross stitch.
The jacket I can’t remember what I used. Boy am I getting old!!! I did sew on a button from my grandmothers collection she gave me.
The shoes were from “Lullaby Layettes” a Leisure Arts book. The size was for 3-6 months so I used one size smaller crochet hooks.
What is your favorite patterns to crochet for a boy?
