Three years ago and then again two years ago we had severe freezes in Florida. We lost every one of our citrus trees except one. I call it our “Charley Brown” orange tree. Since it was so pathetic this last year I didn’t really pay any attention to it.
My husband wants me to cut it down but I just can’t. So this is my year to try and whip it back in shape. I have pulled all the weeds around it, put some coffee water on it and have been watering it faithfully.
Any thoughts? Any ideas on how to bring it back to life? I would love suggestions. Would you side with my husband or me?
Try Jobe’s brand organic fertilizer! I have used it with great success (not on citrus trees but in my garden in general). Ace Hardware carries it.
Thanks have used those before. Worth try.
I’m with you, Keo. I’ll have a look in some of my books to see if I can find any tips.
Thanks, any suggestions are welcome!
