31st Wedding Anniversary- Looking Back

31 years ago today I was preparing to get married.  I can remember it like it was yesterday.

It was freezing and all of our family was there.  My mother and father in law, my two  brother in laws, sister in law and nephew.  My aunt and uncle, cousins, my dad and his girlfriend and my brother.  And of course my mom.

We  were married at First Baptist Indialantic and the reception was at a friends house on the beach side.  Our photographer didn’t show up, he thought it was the next day. The song sung at our wedding….Endless Love.

We had our honeymoon at Disney.  I think that was like the Niagra Falls of the time, lol.

A lot has happened in 31 years.  We have lived through the building of a home, being laid off (yes both of us), infertility, miscarriage, birth of a beautiful son, death of parents, homeschooling for 12 years, living in Utah for 9 months in a hotel, my husband travelling for work months at a time, and much more.

A friend just told me about Fernando Ortega.  I heard this song and remember hearing it a long time ago.  It kind of describes our lifeThis Good Day“.

Yehovah has blessed our life greatly through everything that has happened in our marriage.  It is interesting how when I look back it all seems to weave a picture that is not complete quite yet.  The picture will be completed when one of us goes home to be with the Lord or He comes back.

Thank you Father for what you have done.  I can’t wait to see what is yet to come.

I love you my husband!
