Fun Stuff in the Garden 7/25/12

It seems each new day brings new things in the garden.

A beautiful yellow/peach rose on a bush that my aunt purchased several years ago.  I am not sure what it is called.

I trimmed some plants and disturbed an Spiny Orb Weaver  spider web so he had to rebuild.  I don’t think I have ever seen one of these before.

Then I caught a glimse of a cicada flying around.  I saw his shell the other day on my roll of newspaper.

Next is the caterpillar on my parsley.  This is an Eastern Black Swollowtail.

And last but not least one of my favorite butterflies!! Zebra Longwing, which is Florida’s state butterfly.
