Red Onions – Grown from Old Onion

I really like onions but red onions are my favorite.  One day while I was going through my fridge I found the end of an onion that had sprouted.  I figured  why not plop it in the ground and see what happens.

I have been watching this onion grow for a while and wish I had documented when I actually planted it. I know it has been several months.

I just couldn’t stand it any more and decided to pull it up.  The bulbs are not huge but there are a lot of them.  I am frying up 3 of them and can’t wait to see how they taste.

Onions are great for our hearts and cholesterol.  Here is a little information on onions but there is loads of information on the internet.
